With Gina Ortiz-Anderson and Sam Higginson

So many of us are busy and have jobs, children, spouses, and multiple commitments. It can feel overwhelming to juggle everything without dropping the Zyia ball. But you can use your challenges to drive you and help you lean more into your business.

Hard times are either the excuse to do less or the reason to do more.

It’s so easy to find excuses, but keeping your why in mind can help power you through the hard times.

Personal Development

Personal development is necessary for a happy, healthy, balanced life. If you’re unhappy with how things are going, you have to do the work to make changes, or your dreams will never come to fruition. Believe it before you can achieve it! Make some time every day to read a book, listen to a podcast, or something else that will help enrich your life.

Step Outside Your Comfort Zone

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable because facing your fears is where your growth happens. Your goal should scare you; if it doesn’t, it probably isn’t hard enough. Your Zyia business might push you to do scary things, but those scary things can lead to amazing experiences. From Lives and selfies to Stories and leading teams, you’ll see phenomenal personal growth if you’re willing to get out of your comfort zone.

Be Consistent in Your Efforts

Do your daily habits of following up, reaching out, making connections, posting in your VIP group, sharing your outfit of the day, sending your weekly emails, hosting your parties, and attending training. Do the work to move your business forward. Set your goals and show up to meet those goals.

Create an Organizational Method that Works Best for You

A planner is a great way to help you track your follow-ups and reach-outs. You can break things up into sections or columns to track everything. Checklists are another great way to stay organized, so you know exactly what you’re working on.

Have an Accountability Partner

This partner can be anyone—a downline, upline, sideline, or a Rep who isn’t even on your team. But your accountability partner can motivate and inspire you, providing support and advice when you need to be uplifted. And you can be the accountability partner in turn for another. They help provide fresh perspectives. And if you have a team, work with leaders to ensure everyone is involved in performing all the tasks.

Get Creative in How to Generate Sales in Parties

Parties may be getting more challenging, but you can get innovative to continue growing your business. For example, try birthday reach outs each month. Go into Facebook and search for birthdays. You’ll see your friends with upcoming birthdays pop up. Send them messages! You might be surprised how many of those connections—and reconnections—result in sales and parties for you. Try other techniques like:

  • Fill the bag challenges
  • Fundraisers
  • Sales challenges
  • Posting outfit inspirations when they restock
  • Team customer appreciation events in person
  • Party on demand for people not on social media
  • A style box

Having a good mindset is everything. Nothing about your business is going to change unless you do!
