“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive that is youer than you!”

~Dr. Seuss

Zyia is amazing, but it is not your brand. So what is a personal brand, and why is it important?

Your personal brand is really who you are and what’s important to you. What is it about you that people respond to when they could get the Zyia experience from anyone?

Think about different social media accounts that you follow. Why do you follow them? There are things about the accounts you follow and check in with that you connect with. It could be their aesthetic, humor, styling, faith, or some other link. These links and connections are what we want to create for others via our personal brand.

Identifying Your Pillars

It’s impossible to truly demonstrate our whole selves on social media. Rather than trying to show everything, think about three to five things that are important to you, such as hobbies, your family, or some other key part of yourself that can help you build bridges between you and your followers. Think about Zyia and the Four Pillars of Light, Community, Activity, and Uplift. Their posts and captions always tie back to those Pillars. Do your posts connect with your personal pillars?

Just like Zyia, you can decide what your pillars are. Zyia is not one of your pillars and does not define who you are. But Zyia can tie into your pillars. It’s okay if figuring out who you are and what you’re all about takes time. Get extra insight by asking a friend or teammate to audit your social media feed and look at it from a different perspective.

Identifying Our Ideal Teammates

Our best product is the Zyia opportunity. Who do you want on your team and by your side? Talk to your ideal teammate because if you try to speak to everyone, you’ll end up speaking to no one. Share your life with your ideal person, your best friend. When you stop thinking about talking to everybody and focus on talking to your ideal people, you’ll feel less intimidated and connect more effectively.

Be Yourself

It’s challenging to be yourself, but let people see your personality. Your people will love you for who you are only if you show up as who you are. Be unapologetically and authentically you, and allow your personality to shine. You’ll attract people drawn to your energy and the things you’re interested in.

“Those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”

~Bernard M. Baruch

Stay Consistent

When you stay consistent, you get better at sharing your pillars and voice. This is a relationship-building business. People want to see you, and consistency helps you ensure you’re posting the most authentic content and your followers see you based on the algorithm process.

“Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, how you leave others feeling after an experience with you is your trademark.”

~Jay Danzie
