Ernst & Young LLP recently named Erin Bradley, the CEO and founder of Zyia Active, an Entrepreneur Of The Year®2020 National Award winner following selection as a Utah regional award winner in October. The Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program is one of the preeminent competitive awards for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies. Bradley was one of 13 national winners — and one of two women — announced during a virtual awards celebration on Nov. 19. Bradley was selected by an independent panel of judges from a pool of more than 200 regional award winners.
“A little over three years ago, Zyia Active didn’t exist — this all feels so surreal and I’m incredibly honored to be recognized as a national Entrepreneur of the Year,” said Bradley. “At Zyia, we focus not just on what we sell, but why, and so this distinction also belongs to our employees and representatives across the US and Canada who have played a critical role in our success as a company and embraced our mission from day one.”
The Entrepreneur Of The Year award recognizes entrepreneurial leaders who are excelling in overcoming adversity, financial performance, societal impact and commitment to building a values-based company, innovation, and talent management. The recognition as a national award winner comes on the heels of Zyia Active being honored by Utah Business magazine as a 2020 Fastest Growing company and as a 2020 Emerging Elite company by the Mountain West Capital Network.
Headquartered in Draper, Utah, Zyia Active has experienced exponential growth under Bradley’s leadership: What started in 2017 as four family members working out of her living room has grown into over 300 full-time employees; thousands of sales representatives in neighborhoods across the country; and 130,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. More than activewear, Zyia’s true vision is to empower others through its four pillars: Community, Activity, Uplift, and Light.
Since 1986, EY has honored entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, spirit of innovation and tenacity have driven their companies’ success, transformed their industries and made a positive impact on their communities. As an Entrepreneur Of The Year, Bradley joins the ranks of renowned leaders such as Howard Schultz of Starbucks Corporation; Reid Hoffman and Jeff Weiner of LinkedIn; Hamdi Ulukaya of Chobani; and James Park of Fitbit.
